Media

       WASH

  • For the handling and washing of oocytes and embryos

  • Hepes-bufferes

  • All species range

  • Warm to 36ºC for 15 minutes before use

  •  Used for selection and washing of oocytes

  • Volume of Bottles: 25 ml or 50 ml

 

       IVM

  • For the in vitro maturation of oocytes

  • For cattle, goats, sheep

  • Prepare the vials with 400 µl of IVM medium and cover with 250 μl of oil, inject gas, seal and keep refrigerated

  • The vials can be shipped up to 3 days before OPU

  • INJECT GAS for 5 - 10" in the stock bottle before returning it to the refrigerator Volume of Bottles: 25 ml or 50 ml

 

       IVF

  • For the in vitro fertilization of matures oocytes

  • Add the H and PHE aliquots and mix

  • Prepare the dishes with 70μl of IVF medium and cover with oil (overnight)

  • INJECT GAS for 5 - 10" in the stock bottle before returning it to the refrigerator Volume of Bottles: 25 ml or 50 ml

 

       H / PHE

  • Supplement to add to the IVF medium

  • Add 110 µl of H and 440 µl PHE into 9,450 µl to IVF medium

  • Volume of Bottles: 2 ml

 

       IVC

  • For the in vitro culture of zygote (day 1) to blastocyst (day 7)

  • Prepare the dishes with 100 μl or 500 μl of IVC medium and cover with oil (overnight)

  • INJECT GAS for 5 - 10" in the stock bottle before returning it to the refrigerator Volume of Bottles: 25 ml or 50 ml

 

       SPERM

  • Percoll dilution medium

  • It can be used to wash semen in a gentler centrifugation

  • Volume of Bottles: 10 ml or 25 ml

 

       PERCOLL

  • Used to prepare the gradient for conventional semen

  • Volume of Bottles: 10 ml or 25 ml

 

       PERCOLL SEX

  • Used to prepare the gradient for sexed semen

  • Volume of Bottles: 10 ml or 25 ml

 

       ET-HEPES

  • Buffered medium, with HEPES, to transportation the embryos for up to 12 hours outside the incubator

  • Only warm up to 36º C (does not need to add gas)

  • To load one embryo in straw, you need around 280 μl of medium (for 50 embryos around 15 ml of medium)

  • Embryo transport temperature is between 36°C - 37°C.

  • Volume of Bottles: 25 ml or 50 ml

 

       MINERAL OIL

  • Sterile oil for overlaying at all stages of in vitro embryo

  • Volume of Bottles: 50 ml

 

       MEDIA FOR CRYOPRESERVATION

 

       VITRIFICATION

  • The kit consists of 10 ml of each medium, V1 and V2.

  • Fraction it into eppendorfs in a volume that you use per day.

  • For vitrification of embryos produced in vivo and in vitro.

  • In the medium V1, 8 minutes and in the medium V2, 45 sec.

  • Keep at temperatures of 25ºC.

  • Volume of Bottles: 10 ml

 

       DEVITRIFICATION

  • 3-Step Medium Kit - D1, D2 and D3

  • To thaw vitrified embryos

  • Helps reduce physical damage and better control extracellular fluid osmotic pressure

  • Divide it into eppendorfs a volume that you use per day.

  • D1 medium - 45 seconds to 1 minute, Temperature 37-38ºC

  • D2 medium - 3 minutes.

  • Temperature 25ºC D3 medium, 5 minutes.

  • Temperature 25ºC

  • Volume of Bottles: 10 ml

 

       DT FREEZING

  • 3-Step Medium Kit - HOLDING, HDT and EG

  • For freezing embryos produced in vivo and in vitro.

  • In the holding medium there is no time counting

  • HDT medium - 45 sec to 1 minute - room temperature

  • EG medium 10 minutes - room temperature.

  • Volume of Bottles: 10 ml

  • EMBRYO THAWING: straw in the air per 7 seconds and in the water for 30 seconds - temperature 31ºC

  • Volume of Bottles: 10 ml
